Global Hunger Index 2022 – Synopsis

The 2022 Global Hunger Index (GHI) is the 17th in a series of annual reports that present the hunger situation globally, by region, and at the country level using a multidimensional approach. This year's report shows, the global hunger situation is grim. The overlapping crises facing the world are exposing the failures of food systems, from global to local, and highlighting the vulnerability of populations around the world to hunger.
