Global Hunger Index 2020 - Synopsis
Details
The 2020 Global Hunger Index report (GHI) – the 15th in an annual series – presents a multidimensional measure of global, regional, and national hunger. The latest data available show that while we have made progress in reducing hunger on a global scale since 2000, we still have a long way to go. Of the 117 countries with GHI scores, levels of hunger are still serious or alarming in some countries. This year's Global Hunger Index focuses on the potential of integrated health and nutrition systems for achieving the second of the 17 UN goals for sustainable development: "Zero Hunger by 2030".
