HUMANITARIAN AID FOR Nord Sudan – CONSTRUCTION OF TWO (2) GRAIN STORAGE FACILITIES

Within the scope of its project code number SDN 1145, Welthungerhilfe received funding from the German Foreign Ministry BMZ in July 2017 to construct two (2) new grain storage facilities in support of rural communities in Mellit and Rural El Fasher localities to enable them to have access to sufficient and quality storage for the farm produce. Welthungerhilfe is implementing the project in partnership with AL Rayan (RSD) and CSDV which are registered in Sudan as a National Non-Governmental Organization, and in close coordination with the State Water Corporation, Ministry of Production and Economic Resources. Evaluation/Analysis Consultant (m/f/d) or Team
In order to strengthen and support further developments and programme effectiveness, Welthungerhilfe decided to commission a strategic “Evaluation of Welthungerhilfe’s Experiences with the “Nexus” of Humanitarian Aid, Development Cooperation and Peace” in brief “Nexus - Evaluation”. Hence, we are looking forward for external applicants, Evaluation/Analysis Consultant (m/f/d) or Team who can take over this “Nexus – Evaluation” assignment of all in all approximately 50 - 60 days preferably between mid-July/beginning of August and mid-September 2019, including field visits to three to four country offices. The application deadline is 18 June 2019.

Evaluation of the Project ‘Land Rights for Liberia- Promoting Community Land Rights for National Development’
The primary aim of the independent evaluation is to use impact analyses and a target-actual comparison to determine the project outcomes and impacts (direct and indirect, short, medium and long-term, intended and unintended). The evaluation is to be based on information in Welthungerhilfe’s internal project document (binding target system) and contract with the co-financer, the project’s own monitoring and the evaluation of the consultant.
