ICVA – International Council of Voluntary Agencies

The ICVA is a network of more than 100 organisations that supports effective cooperation between the different actors in humanitarian assistance.

The International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA) is a global network of over 100 non-governmental organisations. Founded in 1962, with a secretariat in Geneva, it works to support effective projects and strengthened cooperation between all actors in humanitarian assistance.

Welthungerhilfe has been a member since 2010. As the only global network of aid organisations, the ICVA represents the interests of its members in important international development cooperation associations, it influences the process of reforming the United Nations, and it promotes exchange between aid organisations in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
