Online and in its Berlin shops, the start-up sirplus sells food that has been discarded by other supermarkets but is still edible and enjoyable. Since 2019, the company has been supporting Welthungerhilfe with a cause-related marketing initiative: For each order placed in its online shop, a school meal is funded in Burundi.
