WHH Meta Evaluation 2023

The externally conducted meta evaluation assesses TORs, inception reports and final evaluation reports of 41 evaluations conducted across all three Regional Directorates in 2020 or 2021.

It identifies key drivers of quality or lack thereof and collects best evaluation practices across WHH country offices that can nurture the Evaluation Good Practice Wiki developed by WHH.

It finds that WHH has a strong evaluation culture and conducts evaluations of satisfactory quality. While the usefulness of evaluations is consistently agreed upon within WHH, there is room for improvement in the extent to which evaluations are used to inform decision-making.
