Mid-Term Evaluation: Sierra Leone (2016)

The ‘Support to the Waste Management Sector of Bo City’ project aims to establish a well-organised and efficient waste management sector in Sierra Leone’s second city. The main results expected are in three areas: 1. BCC strengthened to have an effective supervision and regulation of the waste sector, 2. Bo citizens aware of waste minimization, separation, reuse, recycling and environmentally sound waste disposal issues and 3. Effective, efficient and well-regulated collection, transportation, recycling and trading system for solid waste in Bo City established based on PPP/PPCB approaches.
