The fight against hunger and poverty can only be successful if people from the worlds of politics, the economy and civil society work together. We are glad to hear from companies that would like to join us in this great task. However, we also prize our independence. Welthungerhilfe strongly rejects any attempts to influence the content of our work through financial contributions.

Furthermore, we only want to work with partners that respect social and ecological standards. We rule out cooperation with companies from some sectors (arms, tobacco, gambling, the fur trade and pornography).

For this reason, cooperation and large donations are audited. This process examines companies as a whole, also taking into account attempts to improve. If the result is negative, we will not cooperate with the company.

We firmly believe that this process creates mutual trust, which enables successful long-term cooperation with our partners.
