VOICE stands for “Voluntary Organisations in Cooperation in Emergencies”. Founded in 1992, the network promotes effective humanitarian assistance worldwide, and it is an important dialogue partner for the European Union on all subjects related to emergency assistance and disaster risk reduction.
Its 85 member organisations from 20 countries are active in different areas of humanitarian assistance, but they all have the same goal: they want to save lives and reduce suffering. VOICE works to ensure that EU policy is appropriate for achieving this.
