The International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA) is a global network of over 100 non-governmental organisations including Welthungerhilfe. Founded in 1962, with a secretariat in Geneva, it works to support effective projects and strengthened cooperation between all actors in humanitarian assistance.
As the only global network of aid organisations, the ICVA represents the interests of its members in important international development cooperation associations, it influences the process of reforming the United Nations, and it promotes exchange between aid organisations in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Ukraine, and Latin America
