The company partnered with ESUPS (Emergency Supply Pre-positioning Strategy), a humanitarian logistics and preparedness project hosted by Welthungerhilfe. Gurobi’s tool ensures that ESUPS mathematical model runs smoothly, supporting humanitarian logistics experts and other key humanitarian actors in their day-to-day work and decisions.

The goal is to ensure that the appropriate relief items (such as blankets, tents or water supplies) are stored in the right places and in the right quantities, through the definition of a collective strategy, before a disaster strikes.
