Emergency Aid and Innovation: As an organisation, the CLAAS Group actively supports Welthungerhilfe.
Since 2014, the CLAAS Group (with headquaters in East Westphalia, Germany) has been supporting Welthungerhilfe with emergency-aid needs and the development of innovative projects. Thanks to the professionalism of everyone involved, the CLAAS Group’s management matches the donations it collects at each year’s traditional Epiphany celebration, doubling the amount that Welthungerhilfe then receives as a corporate donation.
Most recently, CLAAS supported the AgriShare app, which offers African small-scale farmers a way to connect to other farmers, organisations, and companies in order to work together as part of the shared economy, meaning that the cost of resources f. ex. Agricultural machinary and services can be shared.
