On September 27, 2026, Bonn’s Rheinaue will be the place to be for sport and social engagement. Together, we take a stand against hunger—as individuals or as a team.

10 Years of the ZeroHungerRun: Joining the birthday celebrations, local brass band Knallblech will bring plenty of festival vibes to the course between the 5 km and 10 km races.
What to expect in Bonn
Event location: Bonn Rheinaue, near the Japanese Garden
Start times on September 27, 2026:
- 10:00 am – Kids’ Run (400 meters · up to 7 years)
- 11:00 am – 5 km run
- 12:30 pm – 10 km run & relay
Race kit pick-up:
Friday/Saturday, September 25/26:
Absolute Run running store, Bonngasse 13 (see FAQ for times)
Sunday, September 27 from 9:00 am at the “Race number distribution” tent in the Rheinaue.
Support along the route:
- Water station on the second lap
- Finish refreshments in the event area
- Food trucks for after the run

The route through Bonn’s Rheinaue
The start and finish lines are centrally located in the Rheinaue leisure park—one of Bonn’s most beautiful running settings, right by the Rhine river.
The route takes you through spacious park landscapes, past water features and green avenues—flat, varied, and atmospheric.
