Good things happen together. When teams work for a fairer world and companies support their efforts, the impact is lasting.

We offer inspiring opportunities for companies and their teams—from payroll giving and fundraising campaigns to motivating events. This makes social engagement simple, effective, and strengthens cohesion within the company.

Fundraising campaigns

When colleagues come together, they often feel the desire to make a tangible difference. Fundraising campaigns are a great way to do this—fostering team spirit, motivating staff, and sending a strong message of social commitment.

Occasions for fundraising campaigns
There are many opportunities to start a company fundraising initiative, such as:

Anniversaries and company celebrations: Mark milestones or successes by doing good together.

Holiday campaigns: Use the festive season to raise donations for a good cause—perhaps at your company Christmas party.

Sports and team events: Athletic challenges are a great way to combine fundraising with health promotion and shared experience.

Emergency situations: In crises such as natural disasters or humanitarian emergencies, you can mobilise swift joint support.

Where can donations be directed?

Welthungerhilfe (WHH) offers a wide range of options to target your donations effectively.

Volunteering

We’re delighted when company employees wish to volunteer for WHH. Especially in fundraising activities—such as creative donation campaigns or participation in our charity runs—there are many ways to contribute ideas and skills for a world without hunger.

Other forms of volunteering, however, are possible only to a limited extent.

Shaping the future with expertise – Volunteering in the Innovation Lab

In WHH’s Innovation Lab, we work with partners from business and academia to develop forward-looking solutions that advance our #ZeroHunger vision. Thematic and regional priorities are redefined each year.

Professionals from companies—ideally from the relevant focus regions—can contribute their expertise to our innovation processes.

Why corporate volunteering in project work is not possible

We greatly value companies that give employees time off to support aid organizations. However, our work primarily takes place in regions heavily affected by hunger and poverty. Given the often challenging living conditions, we adhere to strict safety protocols and only send trained staff who are familiar with local contexts to project areas.
