Zimbabwe Activation May 2025

As part of the ongoing WAHAFA initiative, Nutrition Action Zimbabwe and Action Against Hunger activated anticipatory measures in Chiredzi District, Masvingo Province, in May 2025 to reduce drought impacts. With €150,000 in anticipatory funding, 3,000 people received food vouchers, poultry support, and training in climate-smart agriculture—actions that prevented food insecurity, protected vulnerable households, and enhanced local resilience.
