Zimbabwe Activation July 2024

Details
Zimbabwe, like many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, faces increasingly severe and frequent droughts, exacerbated by climate change. These droughts threaten food security, water availability, and the livelihoods of millions, particularly in rural communities reliant on agriculture and livestock. To mitigate the impact of droughts before they escalate into crises, Welthungerhilfe (WHH) Zimbabwe, in collaboration with Farmers Community Trust Zimbabwe (FCTZ) and various governmental agencies, activated anticipatory actions in Mbire District, Mashonaland Central Province in July 2024.
