Impact Report

International cooperation is under pressure to demonstrate, through meaningful and measurable evidence, that Zero Hunger on a Healthy Planet is both feasible and a smart investment in our common future. The Impact Report is part of our commitment at Welthungerhilfe to build the evidence base. It provides a transparent account of how we measure change, what we have achieved, and where we must improve. Drawing on data and insights from 188 projects across 30 countries ending between 2022 and 2024, the report brings together results from our key thematic areas and shows how our work contributes to positive changes in people’s lives and the environment through both quantitative and qualitative evidence. It also shows how we measure our systemic impact: our contributions to deep-seated, self-reinforcing improvements in communities, across governance, markets, innovation, and other areas that matter to the people we work with.

This report is written for partners, donors, peers, and others who seek evidence of our outcomes and impacts. It also serves as a learning tool for our teams, helping us improve our work and allocate resources where they create the greatest and most lasting change.
