Working Group on Global Food Security

The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry (BMELV) organise the “Working Group on Global Food Security” (Arbeitskreis Welternährung).

Welthungerhilfe participates regularly in its meetings, along with other organisations that work to fight hunger. The working group enables specialist discussions and information exchanges between the spheres of politics, NGOs and science, on fundamental questions relating to food and nutrition security.
