HULO = Humanitarian Logistics
Together we are stronger: HULO is a humanitarian logistics cooperative of European relief organisations. HULO connects logistics stakeholders to make humanitarian aid more efficient.
HULO is a multi-stakeholder cooperative currently consisting of 14 European member organizations. It is the first humanitarian logistics cooperative that belongs to its members and works towards the common objectives defined by them.
HULO has the aim to connect logistics stakeholders to improve the efficiency of humanitarian aid and reduce the environmental impact by pooling resources, optimizing supply chain management, and developing new digital solutions for today’s challenging world.
HULO envisions humanitarian logistics as a field where a variety of actors work together below the concept of coopetition (act of cooperation between competing organizations by forming a strategic alliance) to achieve more efficient and impactful aid by reducing costs, saving time, increasing quality, all to the benefit of people affected by crises throughout the world.
