EISF – European Interagency Security Forum

The EISF works with questions related to staff and project security, and promotes exchange between NGOs, the UN, donors and researchers.

The European Interagency Security Forum (EISF) is an independent platform for European humanitarian assistance organisations. The aim of the EISF is to exert a positive influence on security risk management for aid organisations, and to help ensure sustainable access to people in emergency situations.

The EISF works on questions of staff and project security from its London headquarters and has 90 European members. It also promotes exchange between NGOs, the United nations, relevant donors, research institutions and other service providers. The forum was founded in 2006 and Welthungerhilfe has been a member from the start.
