The restaurant chain Burgerheart and Welthungerhilfe have been working together since 2019. For each burger sold, Burgerheart donates a meal for someone in need. Burgerheart’s current cause-related marketing initiative, Beyondheart, supports the school meals programme in Kenya.
This is in keeping with its corporate philosophy: Founded in Würzburg, Germany, in 2013, Burgerheart follows a sustainable consumption model. The company eschews most plastics, saves energy, and sources its goods from local suppliers wherever possible.
